Bookings, arrival and departure

What time can I check in?

Check-in is available from 16:00.

Check-in is done in person, and we will give you an access card to open your apartment.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is before 11:00.

If you need a later check-out, please ask us about availability. Late check-out has an additional cost of €30 and is subject to availability.

Can I arrive later in the evening?

Yes, late arrivals are possible. We do not charge an extra fee for late check-in.

However, we kindly ask you to let us know your estimated arrival time in advance so we can organise your check-in properly.

How do I make a booking?

You can book directly through our website using the Lodgify booking system.

To confirm your booking, 50% of the total amount is paid at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is charged 1 day before arrival.

What is the cancellation policy?

The main cancellation policy will always be shown during the booking process.

Please note that special rates or conditions may apply on certain dates or promotions. In those cases, the specific cancellation policy will be clearly displayed before you confirm your booking.

Do you accept card payments or bank transfers?

Yes, we accept card payments and bank transfers.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

No, we do not request a security deposit.

Are there any extra taxes or tourist fees?

No. The price shown during the booking process includes the applicable taxes. There are no additional tourist fees.

Apartments and facilities

How many apartments does El Jazmín del Patio have?

El Jazmín del Patio has 9 independent apartments in a carefully reconstructed Andalusian house in the centre of Nerja.

Each apartment has its own private space and independent access.

Do all apartments have an equipped kitchen?

Yes. All apartments have an equipped kitchen for an independent stay, including a hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, kitchen utensils and dishwasher.

Is there air conditioning and heating?

Yes. All apartments have air conditioning and heating.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes. All apartments have Wi-Fi.

Is there a TV?

Yes. Each apartment has two Smart TVs: one in the living area and one in the bedroom.

Is there a washing machine?

Yes. There is a shared washing machine available in the building.

Is there a tumble dryer?

No, there is no tumble dryer, but each apartment has a drying rack.

Is there a lift?

Yes, the building has a lift.

Do all apartments have a private patio?

No. Some apartments have a private patio, while others have views of the patio, the shared pool area, the town, the mountains or Calle Pintada.

You will find the specific information for each apartment on its individual page.

How many guests can each apartment accommodate?

It depends on the apartment:

Carmela has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 guests.
Concha and Matilde are apartments for 2 guests with a private patio.
Miguel and Pepa are apartments for 2 guests with views of the town, mountains and pool patio.
Antonio, Pilar, Victoriano and Anita can accommodate up to 4 guests thanks to the sofa bed.

Families, children and occupancy

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are welcome.

El Jazmín del Patio is mainly designed for calm and peaceful stays, but families looking for a quiet, well-kept and respectful place to stay are very welcome.

Do you offer a cot and high chair?

Yes, we can prepare a cot and high chair on request and with advance notice, subject to availability.

Rates:

Cot: €5/day or €30/week
High chair: €2/day or €10/week
Baby kit — cot + high chair + bed linen: €6/day, free from the 8th day onwards

We recommend requesting this when making your booking to ensure availability.

What is the minimum age to make a booking?

The minimum age to make a booking is 18 years old.

Are groups allowed?

El Jazmín del Patio is designed for rest, calm and respect between guests.

It is not intended for party groups or noisy stays. Group bookings are welcome as long as the peaceful atmosphere of the building and the house rules are respected.

Are parties or events allowed?

No. Parties and events are not allowed.

Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 07:00, and we kindly ask all guests to help us preserve the calm and welcoming atmosphere of the building.

Pool and shared areas

Is the pool private or shared?

The pool is shared between guests staying in the building.

It is located in the rear patio and is designed as a quiet relaxation area.

Is the pool open all year round?

The pool opens seasonally, usually from Easter until October or November, although this may vary slightly depending on the weather.

What are the pool opening hours?

During the season, the pool is open from 09:00 to 21:00.

Access to the pool is not permitted outside these hours.

Is the pool heated?

No, the pool is not heated.

Is there a lifeguard?

No. The pool area is not supervised and no lifeguard service is provided.

Children must always be supervised by an adult.

How deep is the pool?

The maximum depth is 1.40 m.

Are there any special pool rules?

Yes. To keep the area safe and pleasant, glass objects are not allowed in the pool area, and we kindly ask guests to avoid diving, jumping and rough play. Please also keep the area clean and tidy.

Are there shared relaxation areas?

Yes. The building has a light-filled interior patio and a rear patio with a shared pool, deck chairs and large built-in bench-style loungers with cushions.

We kindly ask guests to use all shared areas with care and respect so everyone can enjoy them.

Accessibility

Does the building have a lift?

Yes, the building has a lift.

Do you have an adapted apartment for guests with reduced mobility?

Yes. Carmela is adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

It has lift access, wide doors and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and support bars.

Are the other apartments accessible?

The other apartments have spacious walk-in showers. There are also no steps at the entrance to the building.

If you have specific accessibility needs, we recommend contacting us before booking so we can help you choose the most suitable apartment.

Location, beach and parking

Where is El Jazmín del Patio located?

We are located on Calle Pintada, right in the centre of Nerja.

From the accommodation, you can walk to restaurants, shops, cafés, the Balcón de Europa and several beaches.

How far is the nearest beach?

The nearest beaches on foot are:

Calahonda Beach: approximately 400 m
El Salón Beach: approximately 500 m

How far is the Balcón de Europa?

The Balcón de Europa is approximately 400 m from the accommodation.

How far is the Nerja Cave?

The Nerja Cave is approximately 4.5 km away.

How far is the bus station and taxi rank?

The bus station and taxi rank are approximately 400 m away.

How far is Málaga Airport?

Málaga Airport is approximately 62 km away.

Do you have private parking?

No, we do not have private parking, but there are several public car parks just a few minutes’ walk away.

Where can I park nearby?

These are some nearby options:

Parking El Balcón de Europa
Covered, monitored and paid parking. Approximately 250 m from the accommodation.

Parking Público Nerja
Open-air, unmonitored and paid parking. Approximately 400 m away.

Parking Carabeo / Los Huertos
Open-air, unmonitored and paid parking. Approximately 450 m away.

Rates may vary, so we recommend checking them directly with each car park before parking.

Can I drive up to the door to drop off my luggage?

Yes. The part of Calle Pintada where El Jazmín del Patio is located is accessible by car, and you can stop briefly at the entrance to drop off your luggage.

We do not recommend staying there longer than necessary, as it is a central area.

Do I need a car to stay here?

No, you do not need a car to enjoy central Nerja, its restaurants, shops, the Balcón de Europa and the nearby beaches.

A car can be useful if you would like to visit villages in La Axarquía, more remote coves, mountain routes or places outside Nerja.

Noise and tranquillity

As you are in the centre, is there any noise?

El Jazmín del Patio is located in the centre of Nerja, so some apartments, especially those facing Calle Pintada, may experience more street life at certain times.

The windows are double-glazed, but as this is a central location, there may be movement outside, especially during local events or special dates.

Are there local events or celebrations nearby?

Yes. At certain times of the year, local events such as Easter processions, carnival, the Three Kings Parade and other local celebrations may pass along Calle Pintada.

For many guests, this is a unique opportunity to experience local culture from within. Even so, we prefer to explain it clearly so you can choose the apartment that best suits the type of stay you are looking for.

Cleaning and longer stays

Is cleaning included during the stay?

Cleaning is included before your arrival and after your departure.

There is no daily cleaning service during the stay, but you can request extra cleaning for an additional cost.

How much does extra cleaning cost?

Mid-stay cleaning costs €50.

Can I request a change of towels or bed linen?

Yes, you can request a change of towels or bed linen for an additional cost.

Rates:

Set of towels: €5 per person
Set of bed linen: €8

You can request this during your stay and pay for it at check-out.

House rules

Is smoking allowed?

No. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere in the building, either indoors or outdoors.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not allowed.

Can I receive visitors?

External visitors are not allowed without prior approval.

What are the quiet hours?

Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 07:00.

We kindly ask you to respect them so all guests can enjoy a peaceful stay.

Can I hang towels on balconies or terraces?

No. We kindly ask guests not to hang towels over balcony or terrace railings.

Each apartment has a drying rack.

Guest assistance

Is there a 24-hour reception?

No, we are not a hotel with a 24-hour reception.

Cristina is usually physically present in the building in the mornings, normally until 14:00, and after that we remain available by phone if you need anything.

What languages do you speak?

We can assist you in Spanish and English.

How can I contact you?

You can contact us in whichever way is most convenient for you: phone, WhatsApp, email or the website contact form.

Transfers and local experiences

Do you offer transfers from Málaga Airport?

Yes. We can help you organise a transfer with a trusted local driver.

The driver will pick you up directly at Málaga Airport and drop you off at the entrance of the apartment. We can also help arrange your return journey to the airport.

Indicative rates:

Daytime transfer — 06:00 to 21:00: €85
Night-time transfer — 21:00 to 06:00: €95

To organise the transfer, we will need your flight number so the driver can check your real arrival time.

For the return journey to the airport, we usually recommend leaving the apartment around 3 hours before your flight departure.

If you need a minivan or have any special requirements, please let us know and we will check the best available option.

Do you organise local experiences?

We do not organise the experiences directly, but we recommend trusted local collaborators who share our way of understanding travel: calm, authentic and connected to the place.

In the Plan your trip section, you will find proposals from Oletrips, with local, authentic Andalusian experiences to discover Nerja, La Axarquía and other beautiful parts of Málaga in a more personal way.

These experiences are managed by third-party providers, so conditions, availability and bookings depend on each provider.
